My mother's sudden death in early 2020 quite literally shifted and cracked open the ground below my feet. The earliest days were spent trying to fathom and make sense of this tragedy and how grief would forever alter my life. The paintings below are the ones I made to entangle this grief and loss and to find an outlet to express it.
